In what was expected to be the toughest weekend of the pre-season, once again Whitchurch were faced with a depleted squad, which is dissapointing.  New recruit Mark Whatling made his debut for the Club up front.

Whitchurch started the game slowly and conceded two goals in the first quarter.  As the half progressed Whitchurch got up and running and played some neat hockey, with last season's top scorer Laith El Khatib hitting the net with a well worked move.

Whitchurch started the second half brightly, but again had a "dodgy" 10 minute spell where possessions was surrended cheaply and in dangerous areas.  Bournville's repsonse was clinical - bagging four goals without reply.

Laith scored his second of the game and a consolation to leave to final score 2-7.
