The sessions on the 19th and 26th of August will also take place here and run by 1st Coaching Team Tyrone Moore & Naz Mohamed. Training in September will continue at Treforest, before reverting to Whitchurch High School on 24th - providing the pitch is ready.
The 1st Team squad train & play at Sophia Gardens on the water-base pitch The rest of the Club train & play at Whitchurch High School.
Please note WIS training sessions are for the 1’s / 2’s squad. Other players should only attend WIS if they receive an invite from Tyrone, Naz or Playing Committee Chair, Neil Beasley. If others want to observe coaching or playing to increase their personal knowledge then you are very welcome at the sessions.
One of the 9 Improvement Strategies that will move us toward the WHC vision is “to enhance player and team performance through dynamic coaching and training”. A group of 20 WHC coaches and team captains have met up to start work on this. If any of it interests you then get involved by ringing Bob Fleck on 07739 855921.
Ladies training is a Whitchurch High School - 6-8pm. 6-7pm U18's and development training. 7-8pm senior training. Training is a vital part of playing hockey so please make every effort to attend. Please bring your friends along - we aim to cater for all abilities and want to make hockey as enjoyable as possible for everyone.
