WHC Saints volunteers will be at this Sunday's Cancer Research Race for Life event in Cardiff.  We are going to be there promoting the club, handing out leaflets and talking to any potential new recruits about our Back2hockey programme which starts in September.

Back2Hockey is a Hockey Wales initiative - participants get total support to experience hockey at their own pace, as well as receiving coaching and opportunities to play in a social setting.

To make this a successful event we need help from the club. As well as running in the various events we would like some volunteers for a few hours to publicise our club.  This is for the ladies as the men aren’t taking part.

Volunteers are needed from 8.30/9am (shifts are fine).  Meet at Blackweir fields – Bute park, off North Road, Cathays (behind the ambulance station). The busiest times will be the hour before the races so 9-10am and then 10am-11am.  Pretty Muddy starts at 2.30pm.

Volunteers will need to wear Saints shirts/t-shirts etc but will be given a Back2hockey T-shirt on the day.

For more information, or to volunteer please contact Moira Edwards or Kat Hunter.
