Whitchurch travelled to Guildford knowing how crucial this bottom of the table clash was going to be. After a strong performance the previous week without any reward the team were hungry for goals and most importantly points.
The game starting with action at both ends. Williams making some good stops from close range shots and the Guildford post man clearing a Flassman drag flick off the line. The rest of the first half continued at a good pace but neither team were able to break the deadlock.
The second half started with Whitchurch looking comfortable on the ball. James Froome in midfield was dominating his opponents creating good link up play with the forwards.
